Samuel S. Robfogel

In this role, Sam Robfogel works with faculty and university stakeholders to develop and launch new programs and lead other strategic initiatives.

Robfogel stepped into the newly created position for AAP in January 2023, following nearly 10 years as the senior director of international initiatives for Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth. In that position, Robfogel led international efforts to share CTY’s experience in identifying and developing the talents of the brightest young students. He also oversaw CTY’s Hong Kong office and served as interim senior director of CTY online programs from 2015 to 2016. Prior to CTY, Robfogel was director of international initiatives for Georgetown University for 11 years.

Robfogel earned a Bachelor of Arts in literature and Latin American studies from Haverford College and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
