Join Stacey Whaley, Director of Geographical Informational Systems for Sevier County Government (TN) and GIS Manager of Government Services for Thompson Consulting Services, as she shares real-world examples of recently implemented and newly developed uses for GIS data both before and after natural disasters strike.
A lifetime resident of Sevier County who is proud to call the Great Smoky Mountains her home, Stacey Whaley has worked in GIS since 2009. She is the Past Chair of Sevier County’s Local Emergency Planning Commission, Past Chair of Sevier County’s Leadership Tomorrow, a graduate of Leadership Sevier, a member of the Tennessee Geographical Information Council, and a 2018 ESRI Special Achievement in GIS award recipient.
