Maria Robson is a Ph.D. Candidate at Northeastern University, where her dissertation focuses on public-private sector intelligence cooperation. Before returning to academia, she worked as a security intelligence analyst in the energy industry. Maria previously taught Research Methods and International Relations at Northeastern University. Her research has been published in Intelligence History, the Journal of European and American Intelligence Studies, and Intelligence and National Security. Maria serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of International Risk Intelligence Professionals (AIRIP) and chairs the association’s Education Committee. She holds a Master of Security and Strategic Studies from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Economics, and History from the University of Toronto, both from her home country of Canada.
