David Whitemyer is a licensed architect with more than twenty years experience in museum exhibition design and project management. He is the Director of Business Development at Luci Creative, a Chicago-based exhibit design firm that serves museums, cultural institutions, retail, and hospitality clients. He served as the Director of Experience Design at Boston Productions (BPI), and as Director of Production at Christopher Chadbourne and Associates, a Boston-area exhibit design firm. Mr. Whitemyer has held the role of Project Manager for the development and construction of exhibits at numerous institutions, including the National Museum of the Marine Corps, the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, and the National Museum of the United States Army. He has spoken at conferences about “green” exhibitions and about the use of building information modeling (BIM) in exhibit design.

Mr. Whitemyer’s writing has been published by the National Association of Museum Exhibitors, Harvard Management Update, Iowa Architect, PM Career Track, and the International Interior Design Association. He served as an editor and regular contributing writer for PSMJ Resources, an advisor and publisher of architecture and engineering management content. He has taught at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Mr. Whitemyer received his Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University.
