Paul Weinstein, Director of the MA in Public Management program, was quoted in the article, Mount Mercy University offers three-year Bachelor degree track.

According to an analysis conducted by Paul Weinstein, in May, around 30 colleges across the U.S. had three-year programs. “The take-up rate to these programs is relatively small,” said Weinstein. “That’s because it only really appeals to students who have the ability to take extra courses each semester, or do in fact come in with AP credits.”

Despite Weinstein’s hesitations about the current state of most three-year programs, he hopes that universities will trend towards making them the norm. “I’m trying to convince policy makers that they should embrace this idea of a three-year degree,” said Weinstein.
