IIF Certificate in Forecasting
The International Institute of Forecasters, the pre-eminent professional organization in the field of forecasting, offers a Certificate in Forecasting program that recognizes achievement of IIF-established standards for those planning to enter the field of forecasting.
The IIF has approved a sequence of Applied Economics Program courses as meeting requirements for awarding its Certificate in Forecasting Practice.

|Tuition and Fees||Tuition in the 2019-2020 academic year is $4,499 per course.
Please note: 2019-2020 tuition rates are tentative pending approval by the Board of Trustees.
Admissions requirements are the same as our MS in Applied Economics degree. Those who then successfully complete our Micro Theory and Macro Theory, Statistics, Econometrics, Microeconometrics or Macroeconometrics, and Macroeconomic Forecasting courses with at least a grade of B, and who have participated in an additional one-week online mini-course on Forecasting in Organizations, will receive the Certificate. Advanced Standing, JHU-speak for transfer credit, for the relevant courses from masters programs in Economics or Statistics, is granted if the earned grade is at least B.
Applicants should apply as a Non-degree student and the IIF Certificate should be mentioned in their Statement of Purpose.
