The Odyssey Program Presents Summer 2020 Zoom Courses

Dear Odyssey Patrons and Friends,

As the end of the Spring semester draws to a close, I want to thank all of you who have supported Odyssey through this difficult time. Through the use of the online Zoom platform, Odyssey has been able to run 22 of its 42 courses that were scheduled from March 11, the day of the JHU shutdown, including our Cover Perspectives. And they have run with a very high rate of participation, patience, and success!

To make up for some of those lost courses, Odyssey, for the first time in a long time, is offering selected summer courses this June. You may NOW register for SUMMER, 2020 Odyssey personal enrichment, non-credit liberal arts course offerings! All IN-PERSON Odyssey courses have been cancelled as of March 11th, 2020 until at least June 30, 2020. All summer courses will be offered through online instruction only. Updates will be posted on our website and communicated through email.

Our new Summer 2020 courses will be offered exclusively through Zoom’s online platform. During our spring semester, we successfully transitioned many of our courses to this online format and received positive feedback from our students. Zoom links will be sent to registered participants on the day of their scheduled course.

Just click on the REGISTER ONLINE tab, either here or on the website. Except, please remember that to receive JHU faculty and staff tuition remission benefits, and discounts for JHU, Osher members and JHU Alumni, the on-line registration option may NOT be used. Instead, call the Odyssey Registrar at 410-516-8516 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and leave a voicemail. Emailed instructions will then be sent on how to receive those benefits or discounts. Tuition remission instructions and forms may also be found on the Odyssey Quick Links webpage and on the JHU Benefits website.
