Multi-Year Schedule

Onsite Courses

We plan to offer the three core courses – Fiction Techniques, Nonfiction Techniques, and Contemporary American Writers – every Fall semester onsite in Baltimore and Washington, DC. (Those cores will also be offered online in both Fall and Spring.)

We will offer at least one Fiction Workshop, one Nonfiction Workshop, and at least one reading course designed for both fiction and nonfiction students every semester.

In addition, we will offer one to three electives every semester in either Baltimore or Washington or in both locations.

Thesis will be offered onsite every Fall and Spring.

Our Conference on Craft/Writing Residency, which carries the credits for a full course in 7–10 days, takes place every July at locations around the country and overseas. Our 2020 Writing Residency will take place in Bar Harbor, Maine. The Writing Residency is optional for all students who take at least one other course onsite.
