Who should I contact with questions?
How do I apply?
What is the deadline for admission?
Do I need to take the GRE (Graduate Record Examination)?
How do I know if my math knowledge is sufficient to begin the program?
What hardware and system requirements are necessary?
To be enrolled in the program, students need internet connectivity to access course materials and to communicate with the instructors and other students.
The core courses require students to use R and Stata. Consult the websites for these software programs to learn more about the optimal hardware requirements. Most new computers are well-suited for the Government Analytics program.
Students should keep in mind that some courses have more specific hardware/software requirements. 470.673 Data Visualization, for example, requires students to bring a laptop to onsite class meetings. The GIS courses use software run on Windows OS (or a Mac that can simulate Windows). See here for more information about the GIS hardware/software requirements.
What kinds of software are used in the Government Analytics programs?
Can I switch from the Certificate in Government Analytics in MS in Government Analytics program?
