Stephen M. Grenier, Adjunct Faculty
Stephen M. Grenier is a former United States Army Special Forces officer who has worked in 32 countries throughout Africa, Europe, and Asia. His graduate education includes a Master of Arts in Government (with honors) and a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University; a Master of Arts in American Politics from George Washington University; and a Master of Arts (with highest distinction) in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College. Grenier is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the War Studies Department at King’s College London.
His book, coedited with Gale Mattox, Coalition Challenges in Afghanistan: The Politics of Alliance, was published by Stanford University Press in 2016.
He is a governing board member of the International Security and Arms Control Section of the American Political Science Association and is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
