Kyle Hood, Adjunct Faculty

Kyle Hood is a Research Economist at the US Bureau of Economic Analysis. His interests are concentrated in two fields, national economic accounts and urban and regional economics. His research in the former covers the measurement of financial services and econometric methods to minimize revisions in national accounts estimates. His research in urban and regional economics focuses on how regional labor markets respond to and recover from local shocks. He has most recently co-authored articles in the Review of Income and Wealth and the Journal of Urban Economics.

He received his B.A. in economics and B.S. in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and received his Ph.D. in economics from Yale University in 2009.
