Elizabeth Hessami, Adjunct Faculty
Elizabeth B. Hessami, J.D., LL.M., is an alumni of the Vermont Law School where she completed her LL.M. in Environmental Law. Currently, she is an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Studies for Linfield College and Adjunct Faulty for The Johns Hopkins University teaching a course on International Environmental Policy. She is licensed to practice by the Washington, D.C. and United States Supreme Court Bars. She is also a Visiting Attorney for the Environmental Law Institute researching post-conflict natural resources management with a focus on climate change and developing nations, particularly Afghanistan. She is a founding member of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association for which she is currently producing content. She has published widely on the topic of armed conflict and the environment in Afghanistan.
