Dave Housley, Adjunct Faculty

Dave Housley is the author of the story collections If I Knew the Way, I Would Take You Home (forthcoming from Dzanc Books), Commercial Fiction (Outpost 19, 2013), and Ryan Seacrest is Famous (Impetus Press, 2008). Four Fathers, a book he co-authored with BL Pawalek, Ben Tanzer, and Tom Williams, will be published on Father’s Day 2014 by Cobalt Press. His work has appeared in Hobart, Mid-American Review, Quarterly West, Wigleaf, and other online and print magazines. He is a founding editor of Barrelhouse magazine and a co-founder of the annual Conversations and Connections writing conference. He is manager of web strategy for Penn State Outreach Marketing and has managed websites for several nonprofit and government organizations, including The World Wildlife Fund, The Peace Corps, and the Appalachian Regional Commission. He is a 1989 graduate of Gettysburg College and a 2007 Fiction graduate of the MA in Writing Program at Johns Hopkins. He lives in State College, Pennsylvania, with his wife Lori and son Ben.
