Brian Feldman, Adjunct Faculty
Brian J. Feldman, JD started his career as an Attorney/CPA for Price Waterhouse in Washington, D.C. Thereafter, he joined the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division, where he rose through the ranks to become lead trial counsel for many of the Tax Division’s most complex, large dollar federal tax cases. While with the Department of Justice, Brian was a 3-time recipient of the Department’s Outstanding Attorney Award. Currently, Brian is Senior Counsel for a Maryland based law firm.
In 2002, Brian was elected to serve in the Maryland House of Delegates representing Maryland’s 15th Legislative District. Brian was re-elected in 2006 and 2010. He served for 5 years as Chair of the Montgomery County Delegation, served as Chair of the House Subcommittee on Banking, Economic Development, Science and Technology and well as House Parliamentarian, a senior leadership position.
In September 2013, Brian was appointed to the Maryland State Senate to fill a seat vacated by the incumbent Senator. In November 2014, he was elected to a full 4-year Senate term.
Brian received his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University, his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and his M.A. in Government from The Johns Hopkins University.
