Bob Torongo, Adjunct Faculty

Bob is Executive Vice President of Government and Academic Research with GfK. He works with federal agencies, policy organizations, and universities on designing and implementing federally funded research and evaluation programs.

For the past 16 years, Bob has designed and conducted evaluation programs across a diverse array of topic areas. Bringing depth of experience in survey research and analytics, he has published numerous papers and articles on analytics methods and survey research techniques.

Prior to joining GfK Consumer Experiences North America in 2015, he worked for Deloitte, where he was a Senior Manager in the Advisory Analytics Group. Previously, he was Director of Analytics for The Gallup Organization, a leading social policy research and polling firm. Prior to that, Mr. Torongo served the US Bureau of Labor Statistics as an Economist on the Consumer Price Index survey. Bob began his career at the Bureau in 2001.

Bob earned his BS (Economics) from the University of Kansas and MS (Applied Economics) from the Johns Hopkins University. He is a member of the Insights Association Government Affairs Committee and a two-time David Ogilvy award winner.
