Ashley Lawson, Adjunct Faculty

Ashley Lawson is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), a top-ranked non-partisan think tank focused on market-based policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At C2ES her research spans the topics of carbon market design, decarbonization policies and technologies, climate risks for businesses, and resilience strategies for climate change impacts. She regularly produces white papers, blog posts, industry presentations, and media appearances.

Ashley has been working in the fields of climate change policy and science since 2004. Prior to joining C2ES she worked in the private sector to model carbon market fundamentals for compliance buyers and other stakeholders.

Ashley holds a M.S. in Environmental Science and Technology from Caltech, where she also conducted PhD research, and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
