Graduation is subject to approval of the thesis by the thesis committee and completion of a successful defense. To meet the defense deadline, students are encouraged to enter the class with a clear of idea of what they would like to research and make progress each week. Students must finish their proposal and literature review during this course. Students who don't will be required to repeat the class.
