First Night of Class First Night of ClassOn the first night of class, please encourage your students to visit https://isis.jhu.edu/ to make sure that the University has the correct contact information for them. Students are responsible for updating their own information through this self-serve web application. Faculty will then have the most updated emails to contact their students. Faculty access their rosters and student emails through this same web address.Academic CalendarImportant student dates and deadlines for the year are listed on the Academic Calendar page. Please review this page to note dates wich may affect you or your class.Midterm Status ReportsDuring the Fall and Spring semesters, the Register will mail an official roster to the faculty approximately one month into the semester with a return due date at the midpoint of the semester. Faculty will receive instructions to verify their rosters, and to alert the Registrar if there are any students who are not meeting the criteria for successful completion of the course. These students are then provided with midterm reports so that they can take corrective action.Address Changes or New E-mail AddressMoving or changing email address? Please send an email to Tanya Howard at payrollaap@jhu.edu to notify us of any address changes. These changes will be entered into the JHU Payroll system and into our administrative database for contracts, rosters, etc. We will send you new tax forms, if necessary.Facilities and SitesEach AAP site has designated mailboxes for each faculty member each semester/term, computer access, photocopier, and a faculty lounge and work area. Office space to meet with a student can be arranged by prior appointment. Front office staff at each location serve as a point of contact for students to drop off paperwork for instructors, or for instructors to leave paperwork for student pick up.Washington DC Center
