Obtaining your JCard
A J-CARD is a magnetic card that contains your unique personal information on it. Your J-CARD functions as your picture identification card, library card, and on-campus cash card. While J-CARDS are optional for faculty, keep in mind that to obtain borrowing permissions from the Eisenhower Library, you must have an activated J-CARD. You can obtain your JCard by printing and filling out the J-CARD application. If your office is on the Homewood campus, you can submit the application for processing and to have your picture taken by visiting:
Office of ID Card Services During the first two weeks of September, we card all new students. To avoid lines, you might want to put off getting your J-CARD until after then. If your office is located at a campus or center other than Homewood, you do not need to have your photo taken. You may choose to fax or mail in your application and your J-CARD will be mailed to you via interdepartmental mail. For more information on J-CARDs, visit the office of ID Card Services website.
