Dr. Marianne Woods at the genius table for the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA)

Dr. Marianne Woods, Director of the MS in Research Administration program, was asked to be at the “Connect with a Genius” table for the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) conference in Washington DC to allow attendees to sign up and ask questions of outstanding research administrators.

Seeba Bhatia, MS in Research Administration student, won the first prize in the student research poster competition at the NCURA National Meeting Luncheon. Seeba’s poster was titled The Association of Geographical Location, Institution Size, Research Volume and Scope and the Correlation to the Salaries of Research Administrators. She won $250 prize and was honored at the luncheon.

Dr. Marianne Woods was speaking to the 1,800 attendees at the 59th annual national conference of the National  Council of University Research Administrators. Dr. Woods was a member of the 59th NCURA annual national conference program committee. She is also executive editor of the NCURA Research Management Review (RMR) Journal, an NCURA Peer Reviewer, and a traveling workshop faculty member. Dr. Woods is a member of the NCURA Select Committee on Global Affairs and a member of the NCURA Professional Development Committee. She is also a past recipient of the NCURA global fellowship and the past recipient of NCURA’s highest honor, the Distinguished Research Administrator Award.
