In 2010, as part of the course “Environmental Governance, Climate Change and Energy Security in Europe and America,” students travelled with Dr. Kathy Wagner Hill and Dr. Dale Mederais to the University of Leuven near Brussels, Belgium, and to Berlin, Germany. Students compared European and U.S. approaches to climate change and international efforts to address it, as well as issues at the nexus of climate and security politics. They also explored the evolving nature of environmental governance in Europe and the United States from a comparative perspective.  Click here for more course pictures.
