Degree Requirements

Ten courses are required to complete the Master of Science in Biotechnology.

Prerequisite Requirement

Students without adequate organic chemistry may be admitted provisionally to take 410.302 Bio-Organic Chemistry.

Four Core Courses (for the General Degree)

Biotechnology Enterprise Concentration

Biotechnology Enterprise Concentration Core Courses

Students in this concentration must complete four core science courses, two science electives, and any four of the following Enterprise courses:

Molecular Targets and Drug Discovery Technologies Concentration
Concentration in Regenerative and Stem Cell Technologies

In addition to the four core courses (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Advanced Cell Biology I and Advanced Cell Biology II), students must complete the four concentration courses and any two electives.
