The MA in Public Management/Certificate in Government Analytics combined credential provides students with a broad set of foundational skills in statistical analysis to help solve real-world governance and policy issues. Students will gain an appreciation for these issues through their required courses to complete the combined credential.
The online, graduate Certificate in Government Analytics offers five courses that cover the fundamentals of data analysis and focus on the evaluative skills needed by those making executive-level decisions.
One of the courses (470.709 Quantitative Methods) already satisfies a core requirement for MA in Public Management students.
To earn the combined credential, students need to complete a total of 15 courses. Of this total, the successful completion of the following 6 courses is required for any student pursuing the combined credential:
