Reader comments:

Contrary to comments made by the main stream media, Mr. Biden was not a factor in getting Mr. Obama. Nothing wrong with that but the media would have us believe otherwise. In 4 years Mr. Biden will be 69 years old. Should Mr. Obama win a second term Mr. Biden will be 73, too old to run on his own in 2016. This is the same position the Republicans found themselves in when Chaney decided not to run in 2008. So, Mr., Biden will very likely be a one term VP. He will likely decide not to run for a second term due to health reasons, which may or may not be the reason for his stepping down in 2012. In any event, his absence will go unnoticed.
