Stephen Rahaim, Adjunct Faculty
Stephen Rahaim, MPH is a behavior change communication and social marketing specialist with experience in the development and private sectors. Stephen designs, manages and measures integrated strategic communication campaigns and programs that apply broadcast and social media, community mobilization and mobile phone and other ICT approaches.
He has worked in a range of areas including family planning, HIV/AIDS, water and hygiene, emerging infectious diseases, land law and legal and human rights, human trafficking, migration and economic growth. Stephen is currently the Behavior Change Communication Advisor and Asia and Middle East Representative for the USAID Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) project, the global flagship project for private sector health and social marketing. He has worked in more than 20 countries across South and Southeast Asia and East Africa. He has a Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
