Stacey Kerans, Adjunct Faculty

Stacey Kerans is a Senior Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard where she specializes in integrated marketing communications campaigns with a focus on branding and reputation management, experiential marketing, and strategic media relations for consumer, corporate, non-profit and government clients. In a highlight of her career, she was privileged to manage the worldwide media strategy, outreach and event coordination efforts for the historic re-opening of the Statue of Liberty on August 3, 2004. For the past six years, she has also worked in the Press Office of the Sundance Film Festival where she was part of the management team overseeing media relations for the 1,200 attending media from around the world.  As part of her work at the Festival, she manages high profile premiere screenings and red carpet press lines for participating filmmakers, celebrities, and VIPS.  She also coordinates press conferences and interviews, including the opening day kick-off press conference with Festival Founder Robert Redford.

Currently she oversees the coordination and execution of the National Book Festival on behalf of the Library of Congress and the First Lady’s Office. This two day event held annually on the National Mall features over 100 award-winning authors, illustrators, poets and storytellers, and a crowd of 200,000.  She is a graduate of Suffolk University in Boston with a degree in Communications, Public Relations and Advertising.
