Robert Haffa, Adjunct Faculty
Robert Haffa, PhD, was the Director of the Northrop Grumman Analysis Center, having joined Northrop after retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Colonel. His Air Force career included operational tours in the F-4 aircraft in Vietnam, the United Kingdom and Korea, teaching political science at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and strategic planning for the Air Staff in the Pentagon. Since joining Northrop Grumman, Dr. Haffa’s work has included analyses of U.S. military strategy, force planning, programming, and wargaming for the business sectors of the company, as well as the development of corporate strategic planning scenarios.
Dr. Haffa holds a BS in international affairs from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an MA in government from Georgetown University, and a Ph.D, in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the author of two books and numerous articles on American defense policy.
