Ricardo Méndez Matta, Adjunct Faculty

A Hollywood veteran, Ricardo Méndez Matta has worked as a DGA first assistant director and director for TV shows such as “Homeland” and “Hart of Dixie” and films like the Academy Award-nominated “A Better Life” and Ken Loach’s “Bread and Roses.” As an independent filmmaker, Ricardo co-wrote and co-directed the award-winning feature “Ladrones y Mentirosos” starring Steven Bauer.

He has taught at the University of Southern California and served as a Trustee of the DGA Assistant Directors Training Program for twenty years. Ricardo currently leads our intensive workshop on budgeting, scheduling and line producing.
