Michael Shelby, Adjunct Faculty
Michael Shelby is Chief Economist in the Transportation and Climate Division of the Office of Transportation and Air Quality at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He analyzes climate change policy options and legislative proposals designed to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, principally in the US transportation sector. He has worked on air quality, air toxics and general environmental and energy policy issues for well over twenty years. He received the Applied Economics Excellence in Teaching Reward for 2016. He has a Ph.D. from Boston University.
