John Schindler, Adjunct Faculty

John Schindler is Assistant Director of the Office of Financial Stability at the Federal Reserve Board, working on issues related to the measurement of financial market risks. He is currently on assignment to the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in Basel, Switzerland where he is serving as a member of the FSB Secretariat until late 2016. In 2008-2009, he served as Chief International Economist at the Treasury Dept. He won Applied Economics’ 2009 Excellence in Teaching Award. In Spring 2009, he was a Visiting Scholar at the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in Santiago, Chile, and was a Visiting Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University there.

His Ph.D. is from the University of Pennsylvania.
