Joan Baldwin, Adjunct Faculty
Joan Baldwin holds an A.B. from Kenyon College in English and Religion and her MA in American Studies/Museum Studies from Case Western Reserve University. She has been a museum director, program analyst for the New York State Council on the Arts, and Program Director for the Museum Association of the State of New York. She is currently the Curator of Special Collections at The Hotchkiss School. She is the co-author of Leadership Matters (2013), and principal writer for its blog, Leadership Matters. This year, four of Leadership Matters posts were featured in The Museum Blog Book. In June 2017, Ms. Baldwin and Ms. Anne Ackerson, published Women in the Museum: Lessons from the Field. Baldwin is a co-founder of the Gender Equity in in Museums Movement (GEMM).
