Jim Spellane, Adjunct Faculty
Jim Spellane has 40 years of experience as a communications professional, writing every conceivable document from 5,000-word keynote addresses to tweets in styles ranging from fiery advocacy to gentle persuasion. He has worked primarily for labor unions and non-profit organizations as a staff member and consultant. Along the way, he has built two in-house communications programs from scratch, including overseeing the transition of a publication-oriented department into a full-service print, video, online and social media operation. Jim’s professional credo is that no matter what the medium, effective communication starts with the written word.
He teaches Public Relations Writing.
