James Langenfeld, Adjunct Faculty

James Langenfeld is a Managing Director and the Head of the Antitrust and Competition Practice at Navigant Economics. Dr. Langenfeld has done extensive work in many industries, and has testified for private parties and government agencies engaged in litigation and regulatory proceedings in the U.S. and other countries. His professional experience also includes serving as Director for Antitrust in the Bureau of Economics of the Federal Trade Commission and a Senior Economist at General Motors. He has published numerous articles in journals and books on many topics in applied economics and econometrics. He is the Editor of Research in Law and Economics, on the editorial board and referees for several professional journals, and serves on the advisory board of several antitrust organizations.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University.
