Erica Sandler, Adjunct Faculty

Erica Sandler, MA, is Vice President in the Strategic Planning, Analytics & Research group at Porter Novelli where she uses qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research methods to better understand clients’ target audiences and develop messaging strategies. While her clients span the for-profit, nonprofit, and government sectors, her specific expertise is in health and social marketing. Sandler has contributed to the campaign planning process—including the development of objectives, strategies, tactics, and evaluation—for clients including the Administration on Aging (AOA), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). She has experience moderating focus groups and excels in message testing and development among various target audiences.

Prior to joining Porter Novelli, she served as Senior Research Manager at the Corporate Executive Board, a leading consulting firm specializing in best practice research. Sandler received a graduate degree in Media and Communications from the University of London, UK and a degree in English Literature from Kenyon College.

She co-teaches Understanding Markets and Audiences.
