Carolina Diaz-Bonilla, Adjunct Faculty

Carolina Diaz-Bonilla is a Senior Economist in the Poverty Practice of the East Asia and Pacific Region at the World Bank. She has experience working with public officials and academics in more than 20 countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, providing research, policy work and advice, and technical assistance. Her areas of research include poverty and income distribution, trade policy, and labor market performance, applying quantitative tools ranging from economy-wide general equilibrium modeling, microsimulation modeling, and statistical and econometric techniques at the individual level. She has most recently co-authored a chapter in the 1st edition of the Handbook of Computable General Equilibrium Modeling.

She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University.
