Barbara Chamberlain, Adjunct Faculty
Barbara Chamberlain joined AIG Private Client Group in 2008 and became Director of Art Collection Management for the central and southeastern U.S. and Canada in 2010. She delivers risk and collections management services to policyholders with private collections and museums. She is a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Boca Museum of Art in Boca Raton, Florida, and on the Advisory Board of the Friends of the Uffizi Gallery based in Palm Beach, Florida.
Previously, Ms. Chamberlain managed works of art in a contemporary art gallery in New York City, was assistant curator of The FORBES Magazine Collection, and the registrar at the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, Florida.
Ms. Chamberlain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Psychology with a minor in painting from Smith College and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
